Marking 3 years since the B-HIVE began, this group of WI business leaders and UW Madison staff and faculty gathered for their spring meeting hosted by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation at the Black Business Hub in Madison. The B-HIVE is facilitated by UW-Madison’s Office of Business Engagement and the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies. Representatives from Kimberly-Clark, Nike, Land’s End, Kohler, Abbott, American Family, and US Venture and other peers engaged in a day of energizing discussion with UW-Madison attendees on cutting-edge interdisciplinary research, innovative collaborations, and the science of communication. Many of the participants have been regular attendees, coming for every meeting since the group began. They shared that these meetings and the network of the B-HIVE are trusted and valued resources, delivering knowledge, relationships, and collaborations they need as nationally leading companies.
